Hey all, Decided to take a step back even from Fun With A Pencil to take me to the absolute basics in drawing. So I'm starting with these online tutorials: http://karmatoons.com/drawing/1a.htm http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=108180 They'll help me get down 3D objects on the sheet and understand perspective too. Then I'll get to work on Fun With A Pencil & Vilppu's Drawing Manual to ensure my work doesn't stay in a cartoony state. After that I'll get started on anatomy & perhaps composition. But I really need to get a solid understanding of this stuff first before I try any of that. I've also been doing a lot of work now. T

Hey all Arc here. I'm a COMPLETE rookie at drawing and I've been deviant since the moment I decided to be serious about this and start to draw daily. I'm 18 and I don't plan on taking any art classes anytime soon so I decided to get my hands on some of the best books I could find to last me through this journey including all the Loomis' books, and a number books by George Bridgman, Harold Speed Robert Beverly Hale & several others. I'm going to work through Fun With a Pencil & then Successful Drawing to get me off the ground. I don't have a scanner right now, so you'll have to bear with some pictures from my phone for now. ^_^' Hoping I can
